You are a doctor and would like to work in Germany?

With everyday business German and cultural training we equip you well for the German labour market or your new occupation.

In our German for Doctors classes you learn general language skills as well as professional German for the medical sector. Our qualified language teachers are experienced and specialised in medical German.

We practice how to deal with misunderstandings and intercultural and communicative challenges. All this with a very practical orientation and using up-to-date teaching material and techniques.

Acquaint yourself with the German health system and daily hospital routines, and train common on-the-job situations, such as anamnesis, patient presentation and the doctor’s letter.

Course Details

level: A1-C1/C1 language exam preparation

participants: 5 to 12 participants

dates and daily hours: possible on a daily basis, according to prior agreement

period: according to prior agreement

conditions for participation: A1 level finalized

course units:

A2: 160 units at 45 min. (8 weeks)

B1: 160 units at 45 min. (8 weeks)

B2: 160 units at 45 min. (8 weeks)

C1 language exam preparation: 160 units at 45 min. (8 weeks)

The course C1/ language exam preparatory course is divided into:

  • 4 weeks of general and medical German (C1) and
  • 4 weeks of preparation for the German language exam at the medical board. (telc German B2-C1 Medicine)

This course is held by a teacher specialised in medical German and by a doctor. During the course we focus on three exam situations: Anamnesis, patient presentation and the doctor’s letter.

You may skip the first 4 weeks and start with the exam preparation directly.
